Relocation Buddy
Relocation can be stressful, especially moving from aboard to a new country. You can help make our alumni's moving easier by signing up as a buddy. You will help them ease into the great San Francisco bay area.
The mission of the Relocation Buddy Program is to help make our alumni's moving experience a bit smoother, a bit easier, and less hectic. HKUSTAANC will perform an initial screening with our alumni to understand their background, interests, and needs. Our pool of buddies are matched and placed according to their background, interests, and experience for the best fit.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is a great way to serve our community of alumni, and it is an excellent way to expand your network and make new friends.
Who Volunteers?
Any HKUSTAANCC members can volunteer for our Relocation Buddy Program
Time Commitment?
While you and our new alumni will communicate and come up with a schedule that works for both of you, the general guideline about time commitment is about 3-5 hours per month for 3 months.
How Do I Become a Buddy?
Anyone interested in Relocation Buddy Program must first complete and submit an online volunteer application form
