Jack Lai joined the Alumni Association Northern California Chapter and has been working on operations since 2015. He is currently an aerospace engineer at NASA Ames Research Center. His work involves research and software development for air traffic management and high-fidelity flight simulations in the Aviation Systems Division. He is currently a software development lead of the Shadow Mode Assessment using Realistic Technologies for the National Airspace System Test Bed project. Prior to joining NASA, Jack worked as a software engineer for Atypon Systems. He received a Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Engineering, at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. 

Jeff works as a product development engineer in Silicon Photonics division of Intel. Prior to his current role, he was a yield and process engineer at Intel Oregon. After receiving his BSc and MPhil in Physics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, he went to Georgia Institute of Technology to study Physics specialized in ultrafast laser metrology. 

Carey is the Co-Founder & CEO of Yohocare, LLC. She is a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Master of Public Health program at U.C. Berkeley and the Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford University. Carey has extensive board experience, having served on the Sunnyvale Library Board of Trustees, the Age-friendly Community Advisory Group, and the HKU Alumni Association Northern California. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Hong Kong and a Master's degree in China Studies from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Xingjian (XJ) Zhang is a seasoned business professional with extensive experience across Asia and the US. He is currently at Apex.AI, a VC-backed mobility software company in Palo Alto. Previously, XJ was a portfolio manager of mobility & climate sectors at SAFE Investment Company, a portfolio manager of Value Partners' HKUST Fund, and a tech investor at CMS Capital. His experience spans global corporations including Deloitte, Mitsubishi Securities, Swire Group, and Esquel Group. XJ holds a Master's degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Master's in Economics from HKUST, where he was also an avid dragon boat paddler.

Ruming (Catherine) Liu is a seasoned corporate attorney, with over a decade of experience representing U.S. domestic and international public and private companies and financial institutions in connection with a variety of venture financing, M&A and capital market transactions. Prior to founding MagStone Law, Ms. Liu worked for Morrison & Foerster LLP in its Palo Alto, Los Angeles and Hong Kong offices and for Jun He Law Office in its Beijing office. Ms. Liu is appointed as mentors for Stanford's Summer Session Course entitled Technology Entrepreneurship.

Piona graduated from Hong Kong University (B.A). She also got a Master degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University (MST) and a Master Degree in from Biola University (M.A). She is the Treasurer of Abundance Youth Mission Team and also the Treasurer of Herald Chorale in CCHCSF. She has more than 15 years prior experience working for the regional / local public accounting firm. Piona specializes in business accounting and tax preparation. She is a CA licensed CPA and a member of AICPA.
