Emily Au

Dr. Emily Y.L. Au currently works as Operation and Program Manager in a fabless semiconductor company in Silicon Valley. She is also a part-time lecturer in Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation at the UC Berkeley. Prior to her current positions, she was an Assistant Professor of Engineering Education at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and she was working as a User Experience Researcher in Honeywell (Shanghai). Dr. Au received Mphil (2001) degree in the area of Quality Engineering and PhD (2008) degree in the area of Human Factors and Ergonomics from the HKUST.

Martin Kou (Secretary)

Blockchain startup founder. Previously a Senior Software Engineer at Apple from 2011-2017 specializing in advanced technologies (e.g. collaborative editing, machine learning, natural language processing) and designing new products.

Rebecca Tiu

As a proud alumnus of HKUST (MBA 2010) and a licensed CPA, Rebecca has over 20 years Finance and Sales Operations working experience in diverse industries such as computer hardware, software, game entertainment, fashion and apparel, in company ranging in size from startups to Fortune 500 MNCs.

Peter Liu

Peter is currently Data Scientist at Facebook. He has been working in the analytics field for 3 years with tech companies including eBay, Adobe and Facebook. Before coming to US for his Master Degree in Business Analytics and Project Management at University of Connecticut, he is graduated from Hong Kong University of Science in Technology with BSc (2014) in Risk Management and Business Intelligence (RMBI). He is also the Founding President of RMBI of Students' Association.

Carol Mao

Carol Mao is a Principal of Fusion Fund. She has extensive experience in US and Asian capital markets. Prior to joining Fusion Fund, she was a senior Investment Banking Associate at Deutsche Bank and CITIC Securities International. During this time, she participated in or completed more than 15 IPO/M&A/Bond/pre-IPO investment transactions. Carol has an M.B.A.degree from Columbia Business School, a M.S. in Financial Mathematics and Statistics from HKUST and a B.S. in Mathematics from Peking University.
